Let’s face it – most of us are juggling multiple responsibilities alongside our CCNA preparation. It is for this reason that successful time management is essential. To maximize the time you spend studying, consider the following advice:

• Use the Pomodoro Technique :   Study in focused 25-minute blocks, followed by 5-minute breaks. In addition to preventing burnout, this supports concentration. Take a longer break of fifteen to thirty minutes to recuperate after four “Pomodoros.”
• Leverage “Dead Time” : Use commute time, lunch breaks, or waiting in line to review flashcards or watch short video tutorials. These small pockets of time can add up to significant study hours over the course of your preparation.                                                   Create a Dedicated Study Space : Having a specific area for studying helps you get into the right mindset and minimizes distractions. Make sure your study space is comfortable, well-lit, and equipped with all the materials you need.
• Use a Study Planner : Tools like Trello or Notion can help you organize your study materials and track your progress. Break down large topics into smaller, manageable tasks and set deadlines for yourself.
• Avoid multitasking : Focus on one topic at a time. Multitasking reduces efficiency and retention. When you’re studying, put away your phone and close unnecessary browser tabs to maintain focus.
• Remember, quality study time trumps quantity. It’s better to have focused, productive study sessions than long, distracted ones. Be mindful of your energy levels and schedule your most challenging study topics during times when you’re typically most alert and focused.
